New York personal injury attorney Michael A. Licatesi is a tenacious litigator with valuable courtroom experience in personal injury as well as no-fault medical collections through arbitrations and civil litigation. He has successfully litigated many high profile cases in the Appellate Division, Court of Claims and Federal courts.  He has also argued thousands of no-fault arbitrations.

 Mr. Licatesi has dedicated most of his career to the representation of accident victims sustaining serious injuries in automobile accidents, slip and falls, construction accidents, nursing home, medical malpractice and more. He has resolved many seven figure cases throughout New York State.  Mr. Licatesi teaches continuing legal education courses and lectures law students and newly admitted attorneys at several law schools.

 
Mr. Licatesi is a graduate of Maurice A. Deane, School of Law at Hofstra University and the Smeal College of Business at Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor’s of Science (Dean’s List), majoring in Risk Management/Real Estate and a concentration in Finance. At Hofstra, he received the legal scholars award and public service award. Michael began his career there litigating on behalf of Pro bono clients in special immigrant juvenile matters and child maltreatment cases involving physical and sexual abuse, educational neglect, abandonment and inadequate supervision. He successfully argued several civil mock trials before Nassau County Justices and respected trial lawyers. Prior to becoming an attorney, Michael worked in commercial real estate closing over $32,000,000 in real estate transactions.

When he has time off, Michael spends time with his family and gives back to several local churches hosting events including, The Thanksgiving Food Pantry, Back to School, and Mother’s Day.

He is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and is a member in good standing in the New York State Courts and in the United States Eastern District Of New York and United States Southern District of New York.
