Fatal Motor Vehicle Accidents May Lead To Claims Against Estates

Apparently, a 20-year-old man was driving the car, and the 17-year-old boy was a passenger. Police believe that speed played a part in the crash that resulted when the car slammed into the side of the garbage truck, which was turning onto a high school campus.

Both individuals in the car suffered fatal injuries as a result of the crash. It was not specifically detailed what type of injuries they may have suffered. The driver of the garbage truck apparently was not injured in the incident.

Though the driver considered at fault in this New York crash also died, the family of the deceased passenger could still pursue a legal claim if they wish.
